Shakarganj Evergreen School Curriculum

At Shakarganj Evergreen School  our curriculum blends academic excellence with moral development and cultural awareness. It not only prepares students for board examinations but also fosters well-rounded personalities who respect diversity and appreciate their heritage.

Purpose and Design

The Shakarganj Evergreen School Curriculum aims to:

  • Equip students for board exams and future academic success
  • Encourage civic responsibility, respect for others’ beliefs, and cultural sensitivity
  • Instill strong moral and spiritual values through structured learning

To support this vision, we carefully select readers from reputable publishers. Additionally, we create special Urdu and English readers and workbooks for Nursery and Prep, tailored to our teaching philosophy. For Classes I to VIII, we use school-crafted workbooks that reinforce classroom learning.

Core Academic Subjects

Islamic and Moral Education

Islamic values lie at the heart of our Shakarganj Evergreen School Curriculum. Students learn:

  • Quran recitation and translation
  • Fundamental Islamic principles and ethics
  • Stories of the Prophet (PBUH), peace be upon him, and early Islamic figures

We occasionally invite eminent scholars and educationists to deliver lectures and enrich the spiritual education of our students.

Curriculum Structure by Grade

Each academic year builds upon the previous one, ensuring continuity and progressive development. The curriculum structure is aligned with Punjab Textbook Board standards, while incorporating creative enhancements. Key aspects include:

  • Activity-based learning for Junior sections
  • Project-based assignments in Middle School
  • Critical thinking tasks for senior classes

Students are continually assessed through class tests, assignments, and monthly assessments to track growth and adapt learning support where needed.
