Mr. Muhammad Javed, the founder and Managing Director of Shakarganj Evergreen School, has been the driving force behind the institution’s growth and success. Mrs. Asma Javed, the Principal of Shakarganj Evergreen School, plays a pivotal role in maintaining the school’s academic standards and fostering a nurturing environment for learning. She believes in holistic education — balancing intellectual development with creativity, emotional growth, and moral integrity.

Shakarganj Evergreen School was founded by Mr. Muhammad Javed with a noble vision — to establish a superior-quality educational institution that offers excellent learning opportunities to children of indigent and lower-middle-class families at an affordable cost. His mission was to make quality education accessible to all, regardless of social or financial background.
The journey began in 1996, when Shakarganj Evergreen Academy was founded in a small building opposite General Hospital, Lahore. The academy quickly gained recognition for its modern teaching approach, dedicated teachers, and focus on moral and intellectual growth. Encouraged by this positive response, Mr. Muhammad Javed decided to expand the initiative, and within a year, in 1997, Shakarganj Evergreen School was officially established.
The name “Shakarganj Evergreen” was inspired by Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganj-e-Shakar (R.A.), the great Sufi saint known for his wisdom, compassion, and devotion. In honor of his teachings, the school dedicates its success to his spiritual legacy. Following his guiding principles, the institution strives to enlighten young minds, spread the light of knowledge, and foster moral strength and character development among students.
Under the leadership of Muhammad Javed, Shakarganj Evergreen School began with a modest number of students and staff, gradually expanding both its facilities and educational offerings. Over time, the school established itself as a reliable choice for parents seeking a balanced, modern education for their children—one that harmonises academic rigour with character building.
The current Principal, Asma Javed, has carried forward the vision and mission of the founder. Under her leadership, the school has introduced contemporary teaching pedagogies, technology-integration in classrooms and extracurricular programmes to nurture well-rounded individuals.
